(ð> Good Mornin' Miss Belle o' the Ball!
HA! I just thought that up all by myself! But I've been thinkin' about YOU a lot more than just now! Sorry I haven't opened my beak to let ya know about it. There seemed to be a big letdown in activity around The Ol' K Kritter Korral after BazeBol Season and The Mom didn't have the demand o' that stuff on her. She just sort of got all zombie-like about BirdChannel stuff for a while on us. I guess I can't blame 'er a whole lot. That season sure takes up a lot o' time and energy to make it all happen. I guess she just needed enough time to recoup ... and to be able to even LOOK at a computer without her eyes goin' crossed. HA!

Anyways, I thought I'd take advantage o 'some intel that my fister Ruby gave me about a GentleBird caller you'd had here recently, and get my tail feathers over here to remind ya that I still eggsist! Don't get me wrong. We're not talkin' about me bein' jealous or nothin' like that. Heck, the only jealous bone I've got in my body is the one that makes me squawk at my frother Jake whenever The Mom is payin' attention to him! An' RaneBeau's a really good featheriend o' The K Kritter Korrallers ever since the first of us (that bein' Rainbow Bridge fister Rosalie) registered on the BirdChannel. They were quite an item too in those days! Did ya know that, Bella? Now, where was I goin' with this ... ? Oh yeah, it's just that hearin' that RaneBeau had made a visit AND was recognizin' how you needed to be appreciated reminded ME that I-I-I hadn't been showin' my appreciation much ... and that I'd better get my tail in gear and start doin' that again!

Which brings me to the specific question I have to ask ya. Would you, by any chance, be plannin' on bein' at the Milonga Saturday night? Mom's not sure who all she's gonna let go this time, but if you're gonna be there then there's a good chance that I have a good chance o' bein' one o' the flock that gets to go. Ya think you could check with your mom and let me know in time to maybe polish the buckles on my Pilgrim shoes and hat so I don't disgrace ya by lookin' all dull and unprepared. (I probably could use a shower and some serious preenin' too if I'm gonna be seen in public with a beautiful gal like you!)

I know it's short notice ... AGAIN. Seems like that's the way I end up doin' it most o' the time, doesn't it? But if ya could just let me know, I'll put my bid in to be one o' the lucky ones that makes it to the party this time!

Hopin' to hear good news from ya soon, I'm gonna get in a little sorely needed whip-crackin' practice on your vote button as I leave. But I'll be back again soon. Count on it! ~~ Cr-r-r-RACK!! GoT iT!!! Later, Pretty Lady...Indy <ð)
