WIlli here...
I have come to tell everyone that Wonka isnt feeling very well right now. Momma had noticed that his tail was looking really knatty and the feathers just kept falling out well the vet discovered that he has about a inch and a half wound (lengthwide)near his vent and his feathers surrounding his vent were covered in dry blood. The vet had a suspition that he had a ingrown feather so she plucked him bald around the wound and put him on two antibiotics. She told Momma to seperate the two of us so she could monitor his droppings. Momma went a bought him a cage and now we live seperate. Mommy came home from work tonight (my other mommy) and she mentioned to momma that Wonkas wing pit looked wet. Momma came in to check and didnt see anything so later when they went to give Wonka his medicine mommy looked at his wingpit and he has it chewed bloody raw. Momma tried to see if our vet had a Emergancy number but they dont and she feels he will be fine but in the morning she is going to call the vet back and see if they will check him for mites. He looks so sad and miserable in his cage Momma just wants to kiss him and make him feel better but she is leaving him alone for a few days to let him settle down. He was so good at the vets but they really put him through alot. Momma feels very sad about all of this and just wishes she could take away his pain. She feels so helpless. Anyways if you can please put all the positive thoughts out to the world so he will get healthy soon. Feathered hugs...Willi
