Hi Poncho,
I've been sleeping in mom's room cause of my screeching, I screech less when i'm with her. :)

It was nice sleeping with mom, but I slept on my new perch. Mom tried to load the pictures of it on the BC but is having a hard time with the puter thing to download. So maybe later.

Last night I slept in my cage cause by the time mom was ready to go to bed I was already alseep and she didn't want to wake me since I don't sleep so good. She said I did squawk a little at 2am but not much and went right back to sleep so she left me alone.

Dad sleeps in his own room cause boy I tell you my daddy snores very loud. He snores sooo loud that mom can hear him from her room and the bathroom is between them with all the doors closed. Yeah, daddy be cutting some big logs. His doctor said he needs to lose some weight that might help with his snoring problem. Mom can't stand when dad snores especially when watching tv, mom can't hear the tv. :(

So the vet gave me some new meds and wants to read what the other vets have done. He said they should have done the 3 test for when I had the nasty bacteria but only did one test. So mom is gonna call the vet and have them fax over my chart. I see the new vet on the 5th and then he'll tell mom what route we should go for what's best for me.

There was a too in the office, it was the vet's bird his name is Frosty and he was showing off to me, I just ignored him.

I was not impressed. He left me alone after and started preening.

So I have this soother plus ointment for my itchy skin that mom puts on. The other one is hydroxyzine 2 times a day.

Its too early to tell, but I have a good feeling and am crossing my toesies that i'll get better. :)

Here's a vote for you my friend, thank you for being so positive. I like positive. Mom has explained to the vet a lot about me and what happend about the neglect and stuff and she is mad at the previous owner. She also told the vet that i've been in my new home for a little over a year and has made a lot of progress. Like now a days i'll let me give me some scratches on my head but only for a little while and stuff like that. I guess it will take me some time to trust again after what i've been through. Which I can't tell mom cause she don't talk bird talk. :( Would be nice if she did, huh? :)

I'll let you know how I do later.

Love & Hugs,

Sallykins
