Well Hello there, Miss Cherish!
It's always a treat to meet new friends :) And such gorgeous ones like you! LOL! Looks like you've already got the hang of "Channel Life", with your gallery covered in beautiful photos, your profile all filled out, and now you're doing a fantastic job at finding friends :) Once you get to know some birds, and have known them for a little while, you'll find that you create true friendships with people! It's fantab-oulous :)
That's a truly great story you've got there, about how you and your parronts (that's what we call birdie parents) met! I've actually heard a couple stories about how humans have met their new "children" on the street, just like how you met the lady who helped you out! It's pretty awful how people can mistreat birds, and sometimes simply DUMP them on the street, because they're tired of taking care of their animals! So terrible, but luckily the world does have some good people like your owners and their friend!!
