Hi Perry,
I'm sure you'll go through your first molt just fine. You might enjoy taking a bath. Mom has a shower perch for suctions onto the side of the shower. We just step up onto it and take a bath. If mom doesn't give us a bath when we want one, we just use our water bowls! LOL Of course, that makes a mess in the cage, so bathing in the shower is much less messier. Since you are nmolting and will be growing in new feathers, be sure to get plenty of protein and calcium. Almonds are rich in protein and calcium. Hard boiled eggs (the whites and the shells) also provide calcium and protein. Best of luck!
Your friend, Susan
