Alfie arrives at the Spa
... the glow of many candles illuminating his path. Lighting one himself, he stands and watches the tiny flame as it flickers and sways. The glow baths his face in a soft yellow light, a light that glistens on the tears that have pooled in his eyes once again. It breaks his heart that yet another flock, another family is feeling the sadness that comes from losing a beloved bird. Little Peep was always so happy, so cheerful. Alfie can well imagine her home is terribly quiet without her there. The thought of that makes the tears spill on over and trail down his cheeks. Wiping them away with a wingtip, he attempts to keep anymore from falling. It's hard though when one thinks about the family that's hurting still tonight.

Holding the candle up higher, Alfie says to the night sky, "To you, Little Peep."
