Such wonderful news! Not so much the part about the bites but definitely the part where you were pleasantly surprised to be treated kindly despite the bite and especially the part where you moved over to play with that gentle hand. Oh Caden! Such wonderful news indeed! I can well imagine that the sound of your Mom's laughter is like music to your ears. Sweet, happy music. Turn up the volume, right?

As for Monty Mae inspiring intimidation in you, ahhhh, that's not necessary. She's a sweetie! Then again, I myself might have a bit of the same feeling were I to meet her beak to beak. She's a lovely gal who graciously commands a sense of respect, I suspect. You're a wise guy, Caden. Your judgement's probably spot on... I trust in time though, the two of you will be quite comfortable in each other's company. I'm wishing that for you.
