At 11am sharp, the entire BC Security force
marches on to the field at the BC Veteran's Mamorial Park, for the BC's Memorial Day cerebration.
Each security agent is wearing their dress uniform, all laundered to perfection, with creases sharp enough to cut steel. Each bird is wearing white wing gloves and as they file into formation, each agent stands at attention, thear weapons at "Present Arms".
Director Popeye, commander and chief of the BC security force, stands in front of the entire security force wearing her dress uniform, each collar displaying 5 gold stars, each shining in the bright sunlight. She stands at attention and gives a snappy hand salute as the BC Color Guard enters the park and stops in front of the agents. They are carrying the flag of the United States, the BC flag and the POW/MIA flag. All three birds stand at attention and two birds lower the BC and POW flag, leaveing the flag of the United States flying high and waving in the light breeze.
Popeye finishes her salute and commands; "HONOR GUARD, FRONT AND CENTER". Five agents, with chrome rifles, march to the front and stop in front of Popeye. They salute and Popeye returns the salute.
Popeye shouts; "HONOR GUARD, STAND READY". The five agents raise their rifles to the ready position.
Popeye, again shouts; "READY....FIRE!" a volley of shots ring out, over the park. Popeye again, shouts; "READY....FIRE!" "READY....FIRE!" After the last volley of shots the Honor Guards bring their rifles to "Present Arms". At that moment, a lone agent marches to the front of the assembly and raises a shiney brass bugle to his beak. As the entire crowd sits in complete silance, the lone bird softly plays "Taps".
Popeye, the BC Security force and the entire crowd all bow their heads in silant Prayer for our fallen troops, our MIA and POWs and all of our troops who serve to keep us free.
