Hi Paco
I'm back! I was at Birdie Camp all last week while the Woman was on vacation. Since she got back, she's been getting us caught up at the rate of one bird a day. Today it's finally MY turn!

I have some great news. The breeder had put our last two eggs in a foster nest with eggs from 3 other pairs, so she wasn't 100% sure which egg was which. No matter, since she would know whose babies were whose once they feathered up. She assumed one of our eggs died and the other baby was sickly (it did die). But of the 3 surviving chicks, two of them turned out to be cinnamons - which means our last two eggs made it after all! She just had them mixed up! So now Butterball and I are the parronts of two fine little boys!

We are trying to come up with names for them. So far we're considering Tom & Jerry, and Felix & Oscar. If you have any suggestions we'd love to hear them.

Your friend,
