VOTE FOR PEARL & SILVER FOR BOTM #187354!! Hi Mango, Well, Dad went for his appointment for the blood draw at the new lab. It figures when Mom and Dad walked in this time there was only one person waiting! It was a ten minute wait even without an appointment. So they took Dad in right away, and when he came out Mom could tell he wasn't happy. You have to understand that Nurse Ellen at the doctor's office is one of the best at drawing blood and never hurt Dad or Mom. Dad says the needle this person used was huge and felt like a drill press going into his arm. She had to wrap tape all the way around his arm to get the bleeding to stop afterwards! All in all this is not an improvement over the old way. Tomorrow Mom goes for her endoscopy. That is where they put a tiny little camera down your throat and in to your tumtum. She will be asleep while they are doing it, so it won't be so bad. However it does mean I will probably not be on BC tomorrow, so don't worry about me. Mom really needs to get this done, because she is getting heart burn even with her meds. Besides it has been two years since her last one, and she had some funny tissue then that they need to check out. When she comes home she will be all silly. I hope she sits with me instead of going to sleep, because I will really make her laugh. Kiddo
