Thank you for your notes! All is well now in our neighborhood. The family was in Delaware when the storm hit WV, and my house was without power from last Friday until this Monday. Aunt Lisa came over to make sure that I was okay, and since we are tropical creatures, I was just fine. All of the items in our refridgerators had to be thrown away when the family returned on Tuesday, but that was about it. I was very happy to see Mama walk in the door and squawked really lound when I saw her. Many people throughout the state still do not have power, but we were lucky.

What happened during the storm in your area? I hope none of the McFlock were outside when the storm hit.

I have been looking at our beach photo, and really enjoy that much better than actually being there. And we do make a very handsome couple with our beach hats! But I'd be happy anywhere that you are!

Hope you are keeping cool in this terrible heat. I'll be back tomorrow to visit!
