Put a pirate in the Castle! Vote Sam #185466 BOTM
Hi Kaji,
My mom opted for the Amazon Visa card when she ordered her vacuum cleaner. She got a big discount on the vacuum, and she puts her book orders on there. She just got a notice from them by email that the point she accumulates makes dollars to order from Amazon. So that will be nice.
I sure am glad we don't have the kind of weather the rest of the country is suffering. Those poor folks on the East Coast with no power, and it probably won't be fixed for days. Mom grew up in MD right outside of D.C., so if she hadn't moved to CA she would be in the middle of that right now. Yikes! Even worse she would have never found me!
I had a nice day yesterday, because the zumba class was cancelled for the holiday, so Mom only went to the gym for an hour to work out. I got all that extra Mom time to myself. She shared her dinner of a protein fruit smoothie with me; believe or not I love them.
Today we got outside a little late, but since it was overcast it was still cool enough to enjoy. The sun has already burned off the clouds, so it is getting pretty warm.
Mom made cookies this morning before it got hot, so the oven wouldn't overheat the house. She made her usual protein oatmeal cookies, but she added crunchy peanut butter to them at Dad's request. She isn't happy with them because they crumble too easily, but Dad is happy because they taste good. I like them too. And now that they have sat on the cooling rack for a couple of hours they are firming up a bit.
No gym today, so lots of mommy time for yours truly. What are you doing today? I hope it includes going by my friend Sam's page #185466 to vote for our pirate BOTM candidate. Every single vote counts, you know.
