Hi Sunny
It's really getting dry here. We sure need some rain badly! I think I heard we are 5 inches below the average for the year already.

Our weathermen must be related, because ours keeps changing his tune also. He said it was going to be hot and sunny all weekend, now he says there will be thunderstorms. The Cuddler's nephew is getting married Saturday in an outdoor ceremony, so what are the chances of our long-awaited rain arriving just as the bride is walking down the aisle?

Good for you, getting the most scritches, which is of course your due! I've always been the scritch queen around here but Chardonnay is giving me a run for my money. She is the clingiest, neediest bird you ever saw! She won't give the hoomans a minute's peace!

You are right, I am VERY protective of my eggs. You should see how hard I can bite a hand that comes into my nest!

Your friend,
