Hi sweet neighbor girl, from your pal JennyLynn Yesterday while visiting the McFlock, Art, Flash and I, had the time of our lives, and we were royally entertained, from the time we pulled into the driveway, with the cheerful smiling greeting by our sweet aunt Denise, and the Gator ride around back to the aviary! The weather was nearly perfect, but I must say, it was Flash's day, because it was a coming-out day for Flash, he and my aunt bonded right from the start, and he changed from a skittish frightened bird to the sweet young man we know Cockatoos are known for! He was letting her hold him and rub his feathers and double crest everywhere, he was sitting on her arm and shoulder, and she could walk up and kiss him on the beak! Flash is a magnificent animal, and much deeper than we imagined! Dad was served a great steak sandwich and peanut butter cookies, and cold drinks, and our aunt came in and gave each of us piece of PB cookie, except for RaneBeau, he had to have more, what a shameless beggar he is! Kelly sat in front of us and entertained us with most of her hundreds of words from her extensive vocabulary, and Alfie engaged in the Amazon garble, he is just so sweet! In closing, I will add that if you went to the McIntyre home and didn't have a great time, you would have to be trying not to! Have a great day and give my love to all at your home... My enduring love forever, Jenny & the Dallas flock |
