Falco, Willie, Gizmo, and Tooth
rush in with the order this morning. Sorry we weren't here yesterday but it was too hot to turn on the ovens in the kitchen. We did this work overnight. They haul in 3 trays of muffins, 3 of birdie bread, and a tray of zucchini bread. They also have the specialty breads, both the pesto and the apple/walnut/millet on a separate tray, cut and ready to go. I couldn't find the ice box cookie recipe, so I made some frozen truffles instead, Falco tells Lucky, producing a tray of those goodies. Let's put them out front, see who wants some. After delivery is complete, the 4 birds go into the Chilli lounge and order a hearty breakfast. Falco pays, and waves as they leave. See you Tuesday, she calls out to the girls in the kitchen.
