hi sam we have a hummingbird feeder in the front of the house and one in the back. every year we alwzays get a ton of hummingbirds but this year very few came. mom knew that one had a nest somewhere in the back of the house and was watching it very closely because when the babies are old enough that is when you get 3 or 4 at a time fighting over the feeder. well our idiot neighbor must have bought some rocket firecrackers for the 4th of july and was aiming them in the general earea that mom knew the nest to be. after mom put on all our house spotlights to ruin the idiots fun he quit shooting off the rockets but we never saw that one hummingbird anymore. when mom was ;picking up branches after one of our storms she noticed a lot of branches were burned and figured the reason the man quit is because he must have started a fire, when mom puts boo boo on the porch sometimes a hummingbird wil l fly over and stare at her for quite a long time. it is very cute to watch. it is very smart though and never tries to get too close to boo boo. i am feeling much better. last week i went to the vet and he said i was in pretty good shape but mom still was worried because i just wasnt acting like my old self. it made her very happy to hear me scream and yell at the vet and when i came home from the vet i was all wound up and not depressed and was getting into all kinds of trouble and mom said, now thats the cori she knew. right now i am taking nose drops 3xday for an inflamed nare which the vet cant explain but doesnt want to use steroids and is hoping tnhis will clear it up. i sneeze like crazy when mom gives me the drops but am not sneezing anyother time which is good so even though i have liver disease i am doing pretty good right now. love cori and boo boo
