What a lucky guy I am, to have received such a wonderfully long note from the most beautiful girl on Bird Channel!
I'm glad to hear that everything is alright at your home, and that those awful hawks are not near your outdoor aviarys. Have you been out to the PP or BB this summer,or is that reserved for your larger siblings? I've only been able to peek out the open garage door, and even then, not for long, because there seems to be an increase in the cat population in our neighborhood, so Mama doesn't want one to sneak up on us and scare me into flying away. I'm just as happy to look out the window at the outside world from sitting on Mama's knee in our chair by the window. That way, if I sort of doze off, I'm safe.
Yes, the parronts are pretty proud of "You know who". He really is a nice boy, gets good marks in school, doesn't ask for much, and does great volunteer work, but you know how I feel. Any attention for him from Mama is attention taken away from me. Aren't we selfish?
I hope that you have a wonderful weekend. I am off now to pay Gus a visit, because tomorrow is his hatch day, and I most likly won't be on BC.
Just remember, I'll be thinking of YOU all weekend!
