Hey Zena
Well, it's official: Mom brought home 5 baby squirrels. There are 4 fox squirrels in one litter, and one gray squirrel in the other carrier. All are still eyes and ears closed, which means they are all under 5 weeks of age. Mom will keep them here (if they all survive) until they are alert and eating mash, then they can be returned to the center. She was going to take the litter of 3 little black (gray) squirrels, but they needed another dusting for fleas, and mom doesn't want to introduce fleas into the house for some reason, heehee. Anyway, it's a good way to get over PDS, pool deficiency syndrome. Hope you are having a great day, squawk at you soon. Hugs, Falco
