Hi Jamaica,
You can carry the machete, but you realize that means you have to lead the way. Any critters that pop up will be your responsibility. And Mom says the lizards (especially the baby ones) are wings off, because she likes them a lot. Gophers are open season though, so hopefully we will find a couple on our expedition. Still too hot, but soon....
Our high today is only 91, and it definitely feels cooler. Mom has been running late all day, because she slept in till 7:15! (Bad Mommy. My breakfast was late!) So we didn't get outside until 10 this morning, but it was still OK. Then Mom sprayed herself in the face with the hose. It was laying on the ground, and she didn't notice it was pointed right at her when she turned the water on. Pretty funny stuff!!!
We had pot stickers (Local store brand knock off of Lean Cuisine) for lunch, and they were yummy. It comes with rice and julienne squash, so lots for me to like. We are going to have a popsicle to share as soon as Mom is done blogging. Have you ever had a pineapple popsicle? Mom was a little leery, but tried it for me. We both like them a lot!!
