Hey Cheyenne
Rio is not a bad bird. I bit his toes when he climbed on top of my cage and he was defending himself. Don't be mad at him. I do keep my distance now though and momma is extra careful when he is around Jesse. I can do the same things I could before I just have a softer diet. The vet said most of the bone is gone and it won't be much longer than it is now. I usually eat finch pellets or momma puts my fruits and stuff in the food processor. I ate a cheeto the other day and momma was amazed. I guess I am tougher than she thought. She has to grind my lower beak down every week or so. I can't grind it against the top beak anymore. It makes momma sad sometimes but I know she loves me and we all learn to make do with what life hands us.
