Hello Again Miranda Your cookout sounded wonderful; corn on the cob, ribs, the works! Sounds too like a round of Musical Cages is in process. We do that here on occasion. In fact right now I'm sleeping in Saber's original cage which is parked next to my original cage that's housing Alfie the Amazon. There's a story behind every change! Lucky for me, Alfie doesn't mind if I visit my old digs and of course, he knows he's welcome to whatever he comes across in what is considered my cage for the time being. Saber got moved into Reba (the Greenwing) cage after it was advised she be moved out of hers in an effort to get her over being so territorial about it. Now Reba could care less about her cage, concerning herself more with who's on RaneBeau's cage. Lucky for RaneBeau, he's allowed on his own cage. Alfie is afforded only limited parking time before he's advised to get moving. I don't even bother with trying to visit RaneBeau's cage. I avoid the tourists' traps like a plague. Saber does well in a macaw-sized cage because he needs to spend more time confined than any bird here. A big cage allows him his treasured collection of cardboard boxes on the inside. Right now though, he'd rather be on the outside, hovering over the cardboard box that Lalo (now called "Willow") likes to hide in. Quite like your house, this place is a circus!! I believe you and me could be the only sane ones in each place. Almonds help us maintain that status, do they not? Love and Winghugs back to you, Dear Kelly *v* |
