Oh My! Be Still, My Fluttering Heart~
Just look at that handsome face, those passionate eyes, that strong beak — Oh! MY!
Simon, you are one good looking Blue & Gold Macaw and I am SO proud to say you are my man. MY man! I get shivers just under the downy feathers thinking about it!

Okay, I'll calm down now but I just want you to know that photo of your face gets my heart to fluttering.

So my little card and token of love moved you, did it? That's nice to know. I mean, a girl's happy to hear that she has what it takes to bring a smile. Now as for bringing tears to your mom's face, I'm glad you assured me they were happy tears. I take it she's pleased that her boy's found a likable girl? *blush*

*Reba holds Simon's face between her wingtips and looks him straight in the eye.*
Now, I don't want to hear "I'm sorry" out of you one more time while Taz is on the campaign trail this month. There's to be no apologizing about fewer visits or little love notes from you, okay? I don't want you feel the least bit guilty. I know Taz is lording over the keyboard; it's what it takes to win this race! I completely understand. And please, if I write a note to you, don't feel like you have to zip over and respond. Just read it and know that I'm thinking of you.

*And then Reba plants a warm, sweet kiss on Simon's beak before she sets removes her wingtips from around his handsome face.*

Okay, with that little matter taken care of, how about I just sit here and watch the campaign proceedings with you. There's got to be some real fringe benefits for the flock that Taz has chosen to present recipes this month. You're likely all getting at least a taste of what he's wiping up to show the BC. Those scrambled eggs he made the other day looked scrumptious. Oh! We just had oatmeal today. It was nearly blue from the berries that were stirred into it. There were also raisins and cranberries, chopped walnuts, shredded coconut, wheat germ and a bit of honey too. And my fresh mango was stirred in as well because I've taken to tossing the mango lately. My beak's definitely going to need a wet napkin when this meal's concluded.

*Reba leans on Simon's shoulder and then she relaxs, having settled in comfortably next to him as they watch the hustle and bustle of the Proctor Flock campaign headquarters.*
