Hello Riley-Ri
Was that your water bowl I just heard it the floor of your cage? What's the deal? Do I need to schedule another dance practice so you're inspired to leave that bowl alone?

So, what'd you do t'day, besides throw your bowl on the ground? Me, let's see- I told our Marine good bye. I didn't see as much of him this time as I usually do. Turns out he thinks he's allergic to us birds. At least the dandery ones, which as you and I know, ain't me. Us macaws, we'r nothin' like them Greys or 'Tiels, are we. I tried t'tell M. it was safe t'hang out with me, but he probably couldn't hear me over all the other chatter in the room. Oh, the other thing I did today was get the room put back to the arrangement I prefer. My cage has always been right there when you come in the door of the bird room. You know where it is, you've been here. Well, mom got this nutsy idea about moving it over in the other corner since Reba's playstand was dismantled and trucked off. She wasn't using it so out the door it went. Kelly's cage had been put in the place mine has always been and so I was always climbin' up there and sittin' on her stuff. Brother, that girl's got attitude when it comes to territory. Oh wait, maybe it's ME with the issues. More than once K had to flee for her life 'cause I was gettin' pushy, so mom was forced to put my cage back where I wanted to perch and find a different place for K's 'room'. Crank up the radio; it's time for Musical Cages! I can't tell ya who's where, mostly 'cause I don't care. What matters is that mine's back where I like it; just inside the door which makes me the FIRST bird ya see when ya come in. Unless I'm behind the door and then I might well be the last... right before I tap your foot!

Okay, enough prattle outta me. Tell me somethin' about YOUR day.

*R rests his lower beak on a bend flight feather, poised now to listen to Riley talk.*
