`Ü´ Ah, Msrs Angel & Pepper!
I missed the opportunity to visit with you yesterday at any length. Momma and I needed to prepare for a presentation to a group of ladies meeting at our church last evening, the Philanthropic Education Organization, because they were interested in meeting me and learning about what it is like to live with a LadyBird like me (and all the other Avians in the K Kritter Korral. I say "Avians" because The Korral includes 8 Felines as well!)
The evening went very well, though I was not asked anything directly. I simply perched on my playstand and tried to be demure, and give them a good impression of how wonderful it can be to have a birdie such as us be a member of the family. Momma said I did my job perfectly. (I even got to have some grapes when it came time for refreshments!)
But I do not want to forget to thank you for coming by on my very first day in The Kissing Booth. It was wonderful to see you both there. Even though I have only known you to date through my frother Jake, there are times that I have to agree that he has some very good taste in featheriends! (To wit, my future fister-in-law, Miss Pringle.)
And for returning today ... you are too kind.
Please, be sure to fill your plates full to the brim with every good thing you see on the Breakfast Buffet while you are here today. And, should your schedules allow, I would welcome as many visits as you can make during my stay here in The Kissing Booth. |
