Hello Scion!
Finally! I'm here and ready to write. I had your page up and the pen out and poised but then something distracted my scribe and that was the end of my correspondence opportunity. I'm sure you know how that goes. I promise you I've not changed my feather styling, so you don't have to be afraid of me. That's so funny that you didn't care for your mom's new haircut. Us birds, we don't miss a thing, do we. Nope!

What's this? A rabbit in your pool? That is so wild that the bunnies will actually swim. The first one appears to be a siamese satin/ Mom says she had one when she first got married. Loved that little rabbit.

Speaking of my mom, yes, she had a very nice time with her parronts. I was amazed by that seeing as I wasn't there to keep her company. In the past she's said she could hardly stand to go without some sort of feathered company coming along. Because she rode in a big metal bird, I didn't get invited to go. And now that Chyna is telling us that a health certificate is required by all 50 states for a traveling bird, I may never get to go again. To think that I could've been confiscated because I was traveling without proper paperwork! How embarrassing, to have to say I had a jail record. *blushing crimson red at the mere thought* Fortunately I don't think bloodwork's required. I'm not sure I'd WANT to go if that were a necessary.

How was your mom's visit to the States? Is there still talk of your parronts (and you of course) returning to your VA home someday? Those bunnies would miss their swimming pool!

So nice to get to talk with you finally. Thank goodness you're a patient friend.
Kirby's squeaking something about telling Squeaky "hello". He had the same experience I did yesterday; was all set to write and then POOF - our typist disappeared. Such a disappointment...

Happy Days
KELLY
