Hi Puffin
We got your thank you card in the mail yesterday, what a nice gesture on your mom's part. I hope you loved your last day or so in the aviary! Our outdoor cages are getting put away today. Mom can't be bothered with yard sale/garage sale stuff, so she usually tosses her old stuff or donates it to local charities.
Dinner was really good for mom, but we got no birdie bag when she got home! Her excuse was that she didn't want food in the car while they were at the opera, but I don't believe that for a second. My guess is that she ate all of it! The opera was a lush production of Rigoletto, with a marvelous cast, great singing! The duke was a handsome guy, the soprano was gorgeous and acted like a teen, and Rigoletto himself was fantastic with a great voice. All in all, it was a good night out if you were a human.
