We've always LOVED that picture of you!
Yes, we are still alive! We apologize for not writing in so long. Our lives have been quite topsy-turvy ever since school started. Sometimes the Woman is able to get Annie and Butterball's blogs done, but never seems to get much farther, so us smaller birds at the bottom of the playstand keep getting neglected. Thank you for keeping NTT going strong!
The kids are making the transition from homeschool to online school. The Boy has already been advanced two math classes. So far both have A averages, but they have to work hard to keep their grades up and the Woman has to lean pretty hard on the Girl to keep her up to pace. She'd rather doodle and draw than do schoolwork but that's no different than when she was homeschooled! How is school going for your mom? Does she have a nice crop of kids this year?
You heard right, we are going to Birdie Camp on the 17th because the folks are leaving for Florida on the 18th. They are taking some birds with them - Bebop (Butterball & Apollo's daughter) is going to live with Becky Bebop's flock in North Carolina, and Jabber will be joining the Z Flock down in Lakeland. They will be attending the big Orlando bird fair on the 21st and hopefully get to meet Miss Maddy there!
We are concerned, however, about the travel cage that will be empty once Bebop and Jabber are delivered to their new homes. Will it come back empty, or will somebirdy come home with them from Florida? Of course we love other birds and would welcome a newcomer to our flock but we don't think Annie would feel the same!
Happy Columbus Day!
Rico & Paulie
