SORRY FOR NOT BLOGGING ON THE WEEKEND
DUE TO NO COMPUTER ACCESS
Oct 6th , 7th and 8th 2012
2nd day at sanctuary/afternoon
A strange lady came in to give us food and water and check Sherie and i's bandages.
when her hand was in my cage I tried to lunge at her with my beak open to bite her hand ,but she had placed the food bowls in my cage already and then slammed the cage door shut fast,.
I heard her say to herself," man , that is one mean bird, it must be from all the pain" ,
so she gave me a painkiller to help ease my pain.
then after the lady left ,Sherie and i had a long conversation about how we got to the sanctuary.
she told me that her owner named Jean, noticed that Sherie had injured her foot.
From being chased on the ground ,by a cat that had made a hole in her screens on the patio.
