Scion!
Is it still raining? Have you grabbed a third umbrella?? Imagine the bunnies are more than ready for the sun to shine so they can go out and hop, skip and jump around the yard again. And from what it sounds like, they've trained your parronts to do much the same with them; hopping, skipping and jumping around, trying to catch those little rascals when it's time to come in. :)

That's so neat that your mom organizes trick or treating for the neighborhood kids. I can understand her worries though about the church's thoughts on the deal. Let's hope she can pull it off without any complications.

The biggest news from here that I can share is that with only three flight feathers, two on one side, one on the other, I'm able to fly across the kitchen, keeping enough loft to make it to that cherished counter. I can't tell you what a glorious feeling it was to achieve that for the first time this fall! It's the pinnacle of accomplishments for me in the flying department. Making it to that counter is the thing I yearn for the most! Without wing power I have to walk across the tile floor and pull myself up the handles of the stack of drawers beside the stove. The first problem comes when mom hears that darn ankle bracelet ticking on the floor; it gives away the fact I'm trying to sneak across the kitchen. The next trouble comes when I encounter a towel stuck in the handles of those drawers. There's not normally one hung there but I think that stupid ankle bracelet cues the hanging of said towel. It makes climbing those handles nearly impossible. Once I'm able to fly, I don't have to worry about all that land-lubber stuff. I just take flight and arrive!! Right now though that take off has to be from a near-equal or higher height than the counter. Once I'm a fully licensed flyer with all my flight feathers, I can take off from anywhere and get to that counter. I'll be one happy bird when I'm back to that ability.

Well, enough about me and my counter quest. Here's hoping you've had a greyt week so far and that the rest looks downright promising.

Hugs from your friend, KELLY
