Hi Cookie
Wow was that something that they went and did that to poor old Georges picture! Our cousin Marty is a Nanday and he sure is loud! And he has a good bite to go with that beak of his too! He gives everyone a headache! Nana will feed him and he'll just yell his head off and he'll even yell when he's got food in his mouth! I guess some elderly lady had him for the first 10 years of his life and she had his cage hung from the ceiling where four cats would antagonize him from below and all she fed him were sunflower seeds! So I guess he got his attitude from there! Even though Nana has tried everything to show him that he's safe and loved he's still attacks her sometimes when she tries to get him out of his cage! You sure are right when you say those Nandays are sporting an attitude!
Mom was busy today making apple pie and butternut squash and cleaning out the sun room so my Dad can put all the deck furniture in there when he gets home from work! No more deck time or getting outside for us til the spring again! It was really cold this morning like 46 and freezing! At least the sun came out today and it was a bright day here! Mom stayed home all day and we didn't have to go in the cage at all! I'm waiting for that apple pie to get done so I can have a taste! My Mom brought us all in some apple skins to chew up and that was fun while it lasted! I hope you are keeping warm there and I'm sending you all my love along with warm birdie hugs and soft beakie kisses and I'm wishing you a great Thursday too! Love,Dixie
