Day 3 at the sanctuary early evening- Sherie's advice to chaka
Erin left the office , we watched her though the window, while she gave food and water to the outdoor cats .
I asked Sherie what should you do if a cat comes near your area?
Just let out a alarm call like this ,she demonstrated and it will startle the cat and make him/her go away and don"t stop squawking until they go away,
if they Don"t go away within 5 minutes then fly to a safer place.
we listened to the blue jays give off an alarm squawk , I asked Sherie what that meant and she told me that means a hawk has caught a bird,
and the blue jays are trying to scare the hawk away.
After are conversation Sherie and i stopped to eat, i noticed that there were seeds and fresh fruits. d Sherie what fruits are these? (as i picked up a red object)
Chaka,Those are strawberries and the yellow food is banana.
Mum the banana is good, do u like banana? no chaka i don"t Sherie replied
