Hello Friends
We were reading your story of how you came to the flock. Momma fell in Love with Sky and wanted a companion for him but they only had males. They told us that two males will fight so we went home with one bird. Mom was searching for a female Red Rump. We are Red Rump Mutations. Mom saw and on line add for a Red Rump Parakeet that needed a home. What a surprise it was to find out that it was the same type as Sky. We also found out that it came from the same breeder. So we know that both birds came from a wonderful place. Lacey had a beautiful home and was well loved. They were moving to a smaller place and then looking for a new house in the town that we used to live in before moving south. It turns out that Laceys original mom came from the south.

Hugs, Sky and Lacey
