Hey Rusty Dude Bird!
Hahaha! That pose is my "What do you think you're doing?" look that I give Mom when she starts taking pictures. This is one from a set of 33 she got of me for Aunt Denise when I was running for BOTM!! That mid-morning she cooked up some chopped apples in orange juice and added cinnamon. I just LOVE that!! So she conned me into doing some pictures but after awhile, she got a shot of me "yawning" and then I finally had enough and went zipping back inside my cage. She got that shot too. It's of my perfect rear-end/tailfeathers going inside my cage and hiding from that camera!! I HATE THAT CAMERA!!! If I could get my beak on it, I'd rip it from....well, from something! I just hate that camera to bits!

Yeah, now as I remember one time, Mom misplaced her water and it was sitting close by on a counter that is the same level as the lower part of my cage that is underneath the play-gym area. Mom kept muttering about what she did with her water. I went down there and all the way to the side of the cage saying, "Here's your water." Not yelling it or anything like that, just a constant, "Here's your water." Mom finally stopped for a moment in the living room realizing what I was saying. She leaned back a little bit where she could see me and I tell her, "Here's your water" and about take a pointing position like a trained "bird" dog!! Then after staring at it for a few seconds, I looked back at Mom and did that above look!! Mom cracked up laughing....yep, I knew that day Mom has that "old timer"s disease" . She'd forget her head if it could come off. heeheeheehee!

It's always a good day to see you at my page, Rusty! Mom has been doing some crafting besides her cleaning out her closet to make room for Shanna's (her daughter) belongings. Mom needs to tidy it up and get rid of some stuff and she knows some of Shanna's things would fit in there easily. She has this huge shoe rack that goes from the top of the closet door all the way to the bottom. She's been clearing out all her shoes which left a nice gymnastic type ladder for me to climb around on. She has it attached on the inside part of the door but has been having the door opened while she's working. I don't like going inside but I like supervising from that door! I will sit high up on the door itself watching. Long long ago, when I was a baby bird...more like about 8mos old or so, I lived here for awhile and she potty trained me. But then I moved out with her son, and he didn't think potty training was a big deal. Mom thought I forgot but this proved that I really didn't forget!! I tell her, "I gotta poop!" Mom has a news paper set up for me & I go there! She tells me it's okay & I go! I will then say, " Momma get the poop!" She just laughs and told me to get in line. There's always someone giving her ........ ALL the time! heeheehee! I guess she collects it to use for manure on her garden. I am only glad to help.

Well, it's night-night time! SamIAm
