How awesome t'hear from you. I was like YES! - a note from that little cutie macaw! You've made my day for sure.

First I'd like t'say I'm so sorry about the loss of your Ridgeback hound. I can well imagine that the emptiness left by a dog that size is huge, but then little dogs leave a gaping hole in their absence too, don't they. How lucky that the pooch knew contentment and comfort in her life while she was with your family.

The 14 rescues that you referred to, are those all of the canine kind? Are you still the only bird or are some of those rescues feathered?

About them accumulated BC points, yeah, I'm like you — I have tons of them but nothing really to use them on. Used t'get the Bird Talk magazine subscription with my points. That was nice, but with that publication havin' flown the coop, I guess now I'll just end up with millions of points to my credit. Thank goodness I'm not countin' on retiring on them points!

The weather's sure a messed up thing, isn't it. It sure seems that way, anyway. I know the world goes through cycles but I also know that humans' existence has had an effect on our planet, one that's going to have serious ramifications down the road someday. That road's gettin' shorter everyday... What I've got t'be thankful for is a family that works t'give me the best they can with what Mother Earth has t'offer. I'm thinkin' that's the same thing you have too; wonderful parronts who care about you so much, Sweet Pea. Aren't we the lucky ones! Yup, you, me and all them pooches at your house. And speaking of pooches, I live with a rat terrier too. She's a wound up ball-crazy, frisbee nut who never seems t'run out of energy, even at the age of six. She makes our beagle-mix-mutt feel tired just watching her run around. Luckily we've recently adopted an unwanted dog who's young enough to give the rat terrier a bit of a run for her money.

Hey, it's been great talkin' to ya. Let's do this more often, okay?

((HugS)) back to you.
