Hi Alex
Well, I think that mom will let me grow my wings this winter. She was just worried about the trip. My cage is open in the morning and doesn't close until bedtime. I play on my cage top, in my cage, and on mom's chair. I do love to do unsupervised walkabouts. But, it's frown upon by my parronts. Sometimes I close my cage door, then go to the very bottom of the cage (seed guard) and hang on with my beak, put my foot on the floor .... and I'm off! I've learned to do this very quiet!
Today was rain all day … big surprise! Sunday will be rain with a high of 54 degrees …woohoo, a heat wave! Monday will be more …yep …rain with 48 degrees. But, for now, they are saying Tuesday will be partly sunny and 54 degrees. I hope so. That’s the big car trip day. I’m keeping my birdie toes crossed that it will be nice.
