Hi Tobes..
That was such a sweet story about Ivan, my Mom's very first bird was a Lutino Cockatiel named Nigel, he was her first love which made her realize just how much she loved having birds around..He, much like Ivan would come off his cage to find Mom where ever she might be, he would always end up in the bath room every morning while Mom got ready for work, he would perch on a basket an watch her put on make up and do her hair..He love Mommy so much he wanted to be with her all the time..There was a terrible accident that caused his death and Mom still cries when she thinks of him, after that she got me, then came Smokey, Coco, then the other 3 Tiels and lastly Rusty..Nigel is resting in a special place in our back yard. The heartbreak of losing a precious bird is sometimes more than you can bear, but you have to, you don't have any other choice but to move on and give everybirdy else all the love you can. I'm so glad Mom got you too, someone that loves birds should shower it on others..Thanks little buddy for coming by the Shoppe to help me out, it's appreciated more than you'll ever know..Romeo |
