Hi Backatcha Sky Pilot
Knowin' how early you have t'get up these days, I'm feelin' extra lucky to be gettin' all these notes from you. Thanks! It's been great hearin' about what's goin' on in your life. I didn't make it back here yesterday 'cause my mom up and took off for Colorado. I didn't see this comin' as it happened so fast. Usually I can tell when the parronts are planning a sneak-away, but this time I thought mom was just doin' some extra closet cleaning. Turns out she was measuring and bagging up food servings for the son to give out. When I got a big ol' kiss on the beak and the words 'Bye bye' while the sun was still shining, I knew then something dreadful was about t'happen. Woe is me, Dude. I'm bored and lonely!
I can imagine that reinforced pole in the shower would be necessary for a big guy like you. That's gotta be a riot t'see, you bobbin' and bouncin' and bein' silly. Feels good to be all wet, don't it.
As for helpin' with the trick-or-treaters, nope I don't do that, mainly because our house doesn't get any. I live sort of out in the middle of nowhere in the country. There's five other houses here in this little village area and the few kids that do live here head for town where the houses are close t'gether! I'd have a riot gettin' to see all the dressed up beggars. I know I would. I'd probably squawk at them and scare'm but hey! -aint' that the whole idea of this holiday, gettin' scared? Do you assist with the candy sharing??? As for special treats, if mom happens t'make pumpkin-shaped sugar cookies with frosting, I usually get a piece of one of those. That didn't happen last year. Maybe this year. I'll keep my toes crossed on that one. Tell me you get treats... Maybe hearing that you do will get me some. I'll tell my mom, 'See, Sky Pilot gets some...'
