Happy Thursday mornin' to ya. I've had better Thursdays... mom up and took off Tuesday evening for the mountains of Colorado leaving me behind to fend for myself. At least that's how it feels. There's nobody that wants to play with me, take me places around the house or just sort of hang out. I'm doomed to complete boredom until she gets back. The human sons that do the bird care in mom's absence are about as thrilled about the tasks as they would be about a dentist appointment. While its' fun for mom to hang out with us, I guess it's more like work for everybody else. They need t'get their priorities changed around if ya ask me!!

So your mom held a petite B&G the other day, did she? And you think that bird was hoping for a new home? Mmmm, Josh... that has the ring of possibility to it. And I'm not talkin' "GONG". It's more like "TinG" with a sweet little ring to it.

Really glad you didn't have t'wait till Christmas to get to enjoy the bounty of that Parrot Palooza day. That Giving Holiday is a long ways away yet so I bet your mom didn't want t'wait to see how much you'd like what she found for you.

Most of the feathers behind that clock are mine. I shed like a cat mom says. The red ones of course are not from me but my GW sis Reba. She rarely drops a tail feather so I suppose that's why hers are front n'center in the arrangement. Every once in awhile during the daily process of swinging my cage around so the floor underneath can be swept, we're positioned too close to that clock... The bottom of it's pretty beat up where it's hit the tile floor after a macaw beak's bumped it off the wall. Reba loves to play with feathers so doesn't miss a change to pull one out of that collection if she's near enough. It's been rearranged a number of times! That's neat that your feathers are part of the collages. Bet that looks impressive.

You and your big beak have a fantastic day, okay? Me and mine, we're just gonna sit here and stare out the window and hope mom shows up out there soon.

Later, Bud
