Hi Mango
Your mom was very wise to reschedule her surgery. My mom's surgery was supposed to be a simple arthroscopic exploratory , but when they got in there her rotator cuff was almost torn in two. So they did a much more serious surgery. Stupid old Mom still tried to got back to work on the original day. That could have happened to your mom. I am sure all will go well, but why take chances. Besides an extra day to recover is always a good idea.
Yes, Mom would like to see your g-pa's carvings. And if he is doing special orders, she wonders if he would do one of me?
Our weather remains moderate, and it was just barely warm enough for me to get out for my sunbath at 3PM today. Of course, no school kids on a Sunday, but it bodes well for some action tomorrow. So I practiced screeching at the crows today.
Not much else going on around here. Mom fed her gardenia tree today, so he has happy toes now. She felt guilty because she should have done it a week ago, but as long as it is done before the rains come. Hopefully that will be in the next couple of weeks, because then she can be sure it is time for pansy bonanza! I like that, because I get to help.
