CHARLIE are you home?
calls SKY as he comes to a stop in front of the familiar house.
"SKY" calls Charlie, I was just thinking about you.
"Good. I've come to take my best friend for a drive in the Hummer." Sky kisses Charlie on the cheek. "You didn't think I forgot you did you?
"Well, it's been a while." Charlie gives Sky a mischevious grin. " Where we going today pal?"
"Come on, you'll see" Sky helps Charlie on with her pretty pink and soft blue sweater. Lifting her gently in his beak, SKY carries her to the Hummer and helps her in.
"Wait, must get your special chair and your bike too." Sky hurries in to pick up them up and loads them into the back.
"I need your help sweetie." Sky starts the motor, " Novem,ber is my BOTM run and I need your input and help."
"What can I do Sky?"
"be there for me." Sky wing hugs Charlie as they start down the road. " I'd like you to come stay with us for a little while at the KB. We are finishing work on Chirps new surprise Exercise Center. I want your ideas there too."
Sky turns on the stereo and the two begin to sing, "ON the Road again". Laughing and joking the miles away.
"Let's stop here. I see fresh apple pies for sale. I'm hungry, lets have some lunch." Sky stops and helps Charlie into her chair.
"CHARLIE, wait for me." Sky rushes to catch up with her. Charlie pushes a button and speeds up making poor SKY run to catch her. Both are laughing and giggling with the fun they are having.
After their pie they are back on the road to the KB...... |
