Hey Sky Pilot—
You're so right - I'm one happy parrot now that my mom's back. Had a moment of panic yesterday when I saw her luggin' a suitcase by my door again. I let out such a pathetic wail, I think had it been her suitcase she'd have unpacked it and stayed home for my sake. Fortunately it wasn't hers; she was just helpin' a son get his stuff to the car so they could get to the train station on time. He's off to the same town my parronts were just at. He likes t'go there all by himself and just hang out. This same young man will likely be the one who takes care of all of us birds in the future whenever the parronts want to get away for a bit. He has some physical complications that limit his ability to live independently so he'll likely always live at home. He loves all us animals and does a pretty good job of watching out for us. Another adult might need t'come in once a day t'check on things, say that neighbor you suggested or a vet's assistant or the like, but for the most part, Max could do the food and water and allow us out-of-cage time. For the time being, the youngest of the sons is yet basing his life out of home but that's soon t'change.

If I had t'go to a pet store t'stay, it'd be a very long trip t'get there. I live in the middle of kind of nowhere! A decent pet store is over an hour away and I'm a horrible traveler, as in I can't keep my cookies down. Any suggestions on how a parrot can avoid motion sickness in a car?

Great gettin' t'talk to you again.
