Good morning Calico
Soon the smell of apple pies cooling fills the whole house.
`Hey, let`s go outside and play for a while.`` Sarah suggests
``good idea, with nice and sunny today. We can play soccer with my new ball`` Calico adds as they bundle up in their sweaters.
The two race out the door and soon are busily playing a game of soccer, more a game a keep-away until suddenly the ball disappears under a fence that surrounds a spooky old house. No birdie EVER goes there, or ventures to even open the front gate.
Sarah and Calico look over the old wooden picket fence and see their ball sitting beneath an scary old tree with no leaves and peeling bark.
``Oh no, how are we going to get our ball now`` the two look nervously at one another and their ball in the yard of the old HAUNTED house next door...........
