Hi, Chica,
Yes, we think everybirdie had a great time at the Milonga (after they got over being scared). Good food, music and company helps with that too.
It rained a bit during the world series here and in Detroit. Our team won! The last game was a bit of a clawbiter and the parronts were on the edge of their seats. Baseball is like that, even when in the lead it could change very quickly. The parronts aren't even big baseball fans, but when the SF Giants are doing well then they watch.
Definitely do not want to breath any of that old dust and decaying carpet glue, fibers, dead bugs and whatever else. Good to have the plastic sheet, but run your air cleaners too. Mom can't recall if there was any smell, but probably was some.
Yes, we are doing layaway and the fee is waived thru the middle of Dec so no excuse for not doing it. Mom just had one today and the lady was buying some McStuffins toys. Some new item for kids that's in demand, not sure if it's on TV or not.
Glad to hear that the new desk is finally on sale. Our mom always tries to get things on sale that she's planning to buy anyway.
