Hey Rio
Thanks a bunch for lettin' me know things were okay yesterday, at least up until 8 in the morning anyway. Hope it's stayed that way too. The rain, snow and ice seem to stil be swirling around your area so I'm still gonna be wishin' safety and sustained electricity for you. It's good t'know you've got a year's supply of food just in case. You need any help eatin' that up after this storm passes, you've got my number!
Things here at my place are good. Really good. Miss Reba and I are gettin' along fine. In fact, we're doing great! We're not in love or anything- just pals with only the occasional squabble about whose beak should be in the treat bucket first, but even that's happenin' less and less. And no, it's not because I've learned t'let her just go first. No way! Tonight, for the first time, we both stepped up on mom's arm and rode out to the kitchen side by side. It was a Kodak moment for sure but mom thought posing for a picture might be pushin' her luck. Maybe next time.
I'm sorry but I can't picture you bein' a booger. Don't seem possible. But then, if them hormones were lurkin' around, who can blame ya for bein' out of sorts for a bit. Truth be told, I have my moments or two where mom looks at me like she don't recognize me. Even I say "Huh?" after I almost do a dumb thing like lunge. Lately I've been hearin' "How 'bout a kiss instead?" when I pull a stupid stunt, which gets me to stickin' my beak out for kiss which surprisingly does make things all better.
I'm feelin' much better knowin' you're okay. It'll be good when this storm completely passes and I know you're okay for sure. Until then, know that I'm sendin' out positive thoughts~
