Hi, Chica,
With your big flock if multiple birdhouses are needed at the same time layaway would be a good idea, don't think the pet stores do that though. Doubt anyone would want to buy a birdhouse from a walmart though.

Boza is also a short haired dog, but our weather is more mild. Still, on those days when it is cold a dog house would help keep her warm. We keep getting people saying she'll outgrow the chewing stage, can't wait. Good that Harley has a area she can be safe when the parronts are both away from the house and not where she can get near you birds.

Not sure how many trick or treaters we had here. It always starts out slow and then the majority show up between 7:30 and 8:30. Once the candy is gone that's it for the night. Mom buys around 10 bags and that's it. She waits until it goes on sale and buys it at work and doesn't want to spend more than $20 on it. The parronts usually sit outside so kids don't come to the door. Makes it easier, where you live it's probably too cold outside to do that.

Doubt that the storm will be very strong near us. For some reason we always get the fringes of most storms.

Have a great day, wing hugs, beak kisses and a vote for our big beautiful protector and friend, love Pearl and Silver.
