WhatEVER would make you say that you think all you are doing is getting in the way?!
Quite the opposite, My Little Featheriend! Your enthusiasm and your willingness to be helpful in any way possible is quite inspiring.
But Miss Alex and I have feared that in your zeal to learn all you can about the floral business, you have failed to notice a couple of basic things about the way we operate The Pretty Rose Flower Shop.
And, to be sure, the only reason it has become an issue is that, for the customers reading of our activities and services, they might become confused by some actions that would seem to be contradictory to what they have become accustomed to Miss Alex and I doing.
For instance, as Miss Alex mentioned, we do not have an electrical "OPEN" sign that we light during business hours. We are a small enterprise and decided that it would serve our budget best to simply use a small sign that hangs in the front window of The Shop that says "OPEN for Business!" on one side and "Closed for the Day" on the other. And we simply turn it over as we open or close The Shop each day.
Then there is the matter of your being able to perform opening tasks for The Shop before either one of us has arrived in the mornings to unlock the door for you. It does seem a bit confusing that you would be sweeping floors and setting out flowers when there is no way for you to have gotten inside The Shop yet, now doesn't it? You see, Miss Alex and I are full partners in ownership of the business, and therefore we are each the only parrotsons to have keys to unlock and lock up The Shop.
Let's do it this way. In the future, should you arrive for work before one of the two of us has already unlocked, why don't you head straight on over to The Pie Shop to choose some yummy breakfast foods for the three of us while you wait for our arrival? I shall have Miss Lucky add your name to our account to authorize you to charge things for The Flower Shop. That way, you can wait in a nice climate controlled atmosphere until one of us arrives to let you in The Shop. And when we arrive, we will automatically check The Pie Shop to see if you are waiting for us.
And above all, if we have hurt your feelings by trying to eggsplain any of how we operate, or if anything is still unclear, we apologize profusely and we hope that you will give us a second chance to give you the eggsperience you so much want to have to learn "the flowers bus".
