Hi, Blue and Jewel,
We live right down the street from the elementary school skinsis attended, are 4 houses from a 4 way intersection and the street light is in front of our house, so we get lots of kids. To alleviate the getting up to answer the door the parronts, one or both, will sit outside with the cauldron of candy and a lighted pumpkin. Dad likes to talk to the parronts and kids and most come by in groups. The adults usually stay on the sidewalk and the costumed kids will walk up and say trick or treat.
Yesterday it rained a lil bit, nothing much, most of it was overnight after the trick or treating ended.
