Dear Uncle Chuck
Just so you know, Flash is all settled in for the evening. He's in Willow's cage. Okay, it was my cage, but then actually it's Kelly's original cage. Obviously we play musical cages here. Anyway, Flash stepped right up for mom then clamored to her shoulder where he surveyed the room for a bit. It's great that he'd just been here last week because I think he recognized the place, at least a little. It took some patience but eventually Flash stepped down onto the open cage door. Then the family came in to meet him. Flash was cool with that, showing off his crest a little and impressing the crowd with his double row of yellow feathers. (You should've heard RaneBeau grown in the background at that.) When Max (the human) stepped up a little closer (per mom's suggesting), Flash decided that was about enough introductions and tucked himself inside the cage which is exactly what mom was hoping would happen. The door was shut, nite-nites were said and low and behold, Flash said them back! I can't begin to tell you how excited mom was. She practically skipped out of the bird room and off to tell Dad about what Flash said. See, she's been trying to get somebirdie in this flock to say 'nite nite' at bedtime. You'd think with three greys in the family that wouldn't be much of a challenge, but alas, this Zon boy and the Nanday are the only ones that make a garbled attempt to utter those prized words. RaneBeau says 'bye bye' all sweet and quiet but Flash, he stole the show tonight!

Rest peacefully knowing your little 'Too man is about to be doing the same. And so is this Zon. Thanks also, Uncle Chuck, for allowing Jenny to invite me up for the day. It was a very nice adventure.

With respect,
A <ª)
