Hello Poirot
I've not succeeded in getting that voice memo sent off to you. After re-listening to it, we came to the conclusion a better copy could surely be recorded but every time I get comfortable and start a yammer session, there's either too much noise in the background (today it was the fish tank filter that about drowned out my voice) or I see the phone laid down and clamp the beak shut from there on out. Tonight dad got to hear me say "WHATZUP!" loud and clear. He was laughing so loudly, I couldn't hear the fish tank filter. Or something like that. Anyway, don't give up hope on that recording. We're just trying to get a better one to share with you.

I'm not sure if you've heard, but we have a guest in the house for a few days; Mr. Flash has come to hang out with mom. He arrived Wednesday after dark so there wasn't much socializing that night. Today was, I think, a little overwhelming for him. He's only been in the bird room one time, and that was last week, so everything was probably pretty scary to him. Mom left him to adjust in the safe confines of his borrowed cage. He's residing in Willow's vacated space — she's gone back up to cuddle with Uncle Chuck for the week. We think he could use a little feather cuddling time these days. By midafternoon Flash was acting more relaxed so was allowed the option to come out of the cage while RaneBeau, Reba and I hung out in the kitchen with dad. It didn't take but a couple of minutes for Flash to join Alfie on top of the society finch cage that's on top of Saber's cage for the winter. Those two birds must've felt like they were on top of the world up there, or at least on top of their world; they were hollering and carrying on, while Flash flung his crested head back and forth, round and round. It must've been quite a sight because it had mom chuckling. Tomorrow should be an equally interesting day, I'm imagining.

Hope the same will be true for you.

Kelly Kisses for you~
