Sorry it's been so long! I was at Birdie Camp while the folks went to Florida, and they've been playing catch-up ever since they got back. BC being down on Sunday didn't help either. I hope all is well with you. Has your mom had to use her snow tires yet?
The Florida trip was great, the weather was perfect, the Bird Show was incredible, and they made it home before the hurricane hit. Unfortunately for me, they brought an intruder with them. A whiny caique named Tweet has joined our flock. He's an attention hog, and he decided he wants my Feeder to be his pet human. The Feeder is MY pet human, and I don't want to share! Tweet's parronts felt that they don't have the energy to keep up with him, so they talked with the Cuddler beforehand about allowing him to join our flock. His pops is going to continue his blog, however, since the Cuddler really can't manage to take it on right now.
When we came home from Birdie Camp, Buddy Beak didn't come home with us. The folks decided that he is better off there, since he was turning into such a bully at our house. He couldn't be allowed out when the rest of us were out, and he couldn't stay in the same cage with any of us because he either plucked us or chased us. Now he is in a very large flock of 'tiels where he has to mind his manners! He's doing great, though, and is wooing two different hens. Can't believe he'd forget me that quickly!
Since I came home I've been laying eggs, and Valentine is helping me since Buddy is gone. It's nice not to be plucked by my fellow egg-sitter!
Have a great Friday!
